are your internet download manager is give you a link of downloading video form a web page, when you play a video??? If you are not able to get this IDM link don't worry its not a big problem it is problem in your browser extention don't worry i am going to explain my words .
Whn you install any Downloader software it is install in our computer not in your browser .Yes the point is that software is necessary to insatll in your browser .then the question arises how i will install software in browser ???
I will give you a link for IDMan which is most useable software for downloading . FirstofAll Check extensions of browsers (chrome, mozila firefox etc). you not get IDM extension in your browser.

save extension at C:\Program Files\Internet Download Manager.and drag this extension in to your browser extension page.like
After drag it look like as..... click on add.
